The "Groups" Module of Church Helpmate provides a powerful mechanism
for organizing the various activities, classes, skills,
spiritual giftings, committees, and other such groups that exist within
your organization. Church Helpmate's 3-tier hierarchy Group
structure allows you to organize and position these groups the
way that makes most sense for your organization. You can
easily add individuals to the appropriate Groups while
including details about their involvement in the group (such
as position/role, date joined, date withdrew, etc.). You
can create as many Groups in Church Helpmate as you like - and, there is
no limit to the number of Groups a particular individual can
belong to.
The powerful group-based output options of
Church Helpmate will allow you to generate outputs such as directories,
labels, form letters, bulk emails, etc. based on Group
Membership. For example, let's suppose you setup a Group
for the church choir. Church Helpmate makes it a snap to generate
an output just for the members of the choir. Church
Helpmate even
let's you specify a combination of Group criteria when
creating group-based outputs. For example, maybe you
would
like to generate mailing labels for those individuals who are
"members of BOTH Group A and Group B". Or maybe
you'd like to send out a bulk email to those who are "either
members of Group A or Group B". Or maybe you need
to send a form letter to those who are "members of Group A,
but not members of Group B". Or maybe you just
simply need to generate a directory for those individuals who
are "not members of Group A". All of these
scenarios are easily managed by Church Helpmate.... it's a pretty smart
cookie!
